On 4th June 2015, 17-year-old Matthew Bartolo died in a terrible accident in a woodworking factory in Luqa. Nearly a decade later, Matthew’s family still hasn’t managed to get the justice they desire and deserve, with an appeal sentence scheduled for 3 October being deferred yet again, this time to the end of November.
