Help us sustain irreverent journalism.

This project, which took the better part of a year to pull together, was carved out entirely from the creator’s personal funding and did not in any way, shape, or form benefit from state or private funding. The integrity and the independence of the project is an absolute priority.

The Critical Angle project exists solely because there was a strong desire to create an evergreen resource that serves as a key tool in the fight against corruption and as a means to create a new platform for irreverent journalism.

As you can imagine, creating such a platform amounts to a significant investment of time and money. Besides development fees, there are running hosting costs for both the website itself and for the data library. When considering how many hours went into building the data library alone, labour costs are even higher, since those hours were obviously not used for other paid work.

In light of all this, I’ve set the post-launch funding goal at €15,000. If we manage to raise this amount of money, we will have enough money to recoup all production costs and have an operating budget for 12 months.

Together, we can build a project that ensures the crimes of those who have betrayed the general public’s trust remain on a permanent record.

Every donation counts, and I thank you in advance for your support. If you can’t donate yourself, even a share on social media can help make a huge difference.
